East West
Between 18 and 24 April, get ready for an invasion from the East! No, it’s not war, of course, but the
3rd International Festival of Ukrainian Theatre “East-West”. We will see performances by over 30 professional, amateur, student, youth and children’s ensembles. The theatres represent various regions in Ukraine, the Ukrainian diaspora in Poland (“Two Colours” Song Theatre, Badiaka-Maniaka Theatre) and ensembles from Austria, Germany and Georgia, presenting classical and contemporary repertoire at several stages in Kraków. For example, the Praska 52 Theatre hosts
Traveller from Yangon by National Dramatic Theatre from Chernivtsi and the oneiric
Station by the Studio Theatre “Masks”. (
